Toyota 9.5" Land Cruiser Axle Housing

This USA fabricated Toyota 9.5" housing is made in one length, 72" long, so you have plenty of room to make what ever style axle you want.

Our fabricated Toyota 9.5" housing comes standard with 3/8" thick faceplate machined flat and drilled for third member hardware AFTER welding to ensure a perfectly flat mounting surface and exact hole location. The outer shell is made from 1/4" thick steel with 12 individual bends which is done this way to reinforce each other. This axle housing is a touch different than you are used to seeing from housing fabricators. The Toyota housing has 1/8" clearance on a 4.10 Toyota Ring gear because that is the largest ring gear in the Toyota family. The result is an axle housing that is the smallest shape possible and strongest shape too, AND there are no abrupt edges to hang up on passing rocks.

EVERY component is welded to at least 3 other components. The axle tubes are 3.5"x 3/8" wall structural DOM which offer the perfect balance between strength, toughness, weight and ground clearance. You wont be denting these axle tubes! The tube keys into the face plate and has gusseting within the center section so it is completely supported on all sides.

We send our standard differential cover weld in fill plug/ drain plug however an over sized fill/inspection port can be substitued which includes a knurled finish plug for quick and tool-less removal. Our housings are all hand made in the USA by our team of highly skilled professional fabricators. No robots, no imports, no gimmicks.

Great product but missing info

First thing these are super sexy axle housings! Have a matching pair in my rig. But then the info provided isn't great for finishing assembly on these. They don't tell you that these have an inner sleeve at the center so they use 2.5" diameter inner axle seals so don't buy 2.75" based on the axle tube. My housing was drilled for non threaded wheel stud style studs that pull through from the back, that information is nowhere and they don't have the studs so you have to find them. My back housing came drilled and tapped for the inner seal holding set screws but my front didn't. Pretty inconsistent on features they decide to use on each housing. Again I love these axles but they need to provide better info and consistency on the little things.

Ordered the housing back in Novermber. Sales/tech support was great answering my questions, and getting me set up with what I wanted. Will call was friendly and helpful when I picked up. Everything about the housing is fantastic quality and craftsmanship. Finally getting around to building it now,can't wait to get it finished and installed.
