Eaton HO52/72 Disc Brake Conversion Bracket
This is something we have had for a long time, the 14 Bolt Bracket, that I just was unaware of the fact that they work on the Eaton Axles. The design is stronger by eliminating spacers therefore making them slightly lighter as well. Our brackets are 3/8" thick for strength and rigidity and it costs us less to make which we can pass on to you the customer. These are for a the 1965-72 Eaton Single Rear Axle housing and use 73-87 3/4 ton Chevy Calipers and Rotors. These bracket need no extra mounting hardware to complete the job and make the Eaton Disk Brake Conversion easy.
Note
- Axles older than 1971 will need the studs changed out to the 1971-98 studs. This requires drilling your 70 and older hubs to accept the larger knurl diameter or switching to a newer hub
- 1973 factory studs generally work but if longer studs are needed, usually dually studs are long enough. Here is a list of the many different studs that were made for these housings: Dorman Double check stud diameter, studs should drop freely into the rotor. DO NOT press studs into the rotor. If your hub has too large of studs you will need to drill the rotors to accept them. Be sure to have minimum 5/8" lug nut thread engagement once the wheel is installed
- Requires single steel wheel 15" with a maximum 4" back spacing
- Sold as pairs.
