2+ Perch Kit 3.25"-3.5" Axle Tube

Introducing our wheelbase extending Spring Perch. We're going to call it our 2+ Perch! This is a combination of very simple ideas (best kind!) that just makes sense. We start with our standard Ubolt Plates, make a perch that looks wrong, and add some wings. ...and you get....

1"-3" more wheelbase without changing your Spring or Shackle hangers! Or, change them also and get lots more wheelbase. The kit comes with 8 - 4" x 5/8" grade 8 bolts that are threaded into the wings which are made from 1/2" plate so you have no fear of thread retention. Test them on your springs and then cut them to length. I would run about 90FT/lbs on them a dab of Loctite and call it good.

These come welded and are for spring over applications

2 - perches for 3.25-3.5" axle tube and 2.5" wide
2 - 1/2" thick tabs threaded for a 5/8"x18
2 - U-bolt plates for 2 1/2" springs
8 - 5/8"x4" 18tpi Bolts
8 - hardened washers

I bought this kit for my 04 Silverado K1500 crew cab pickup. The guy I bought it from had two lift blocks stacked, which I knew wasn’t safe, but I liked the stance. So I welded 3/16 flat 4”x7” to the inside which gave me about a 5 3/4” lift. I welded directly to the existing spring perch and it looks and drives awesome. I’ve taken it down the bumpiest road and it’s perfect. Thanks Ruffstuff for providing the ultimate quality and durability in off road performance !!

This kit is super stout. I like the super thick (1/2”) tabs with the tapped holes to accept the hardware. Unlike others where the perch needs to be over 4” wide so nuts can go on the underside, Ruffstuff simplified the concept and produces top tier products. This is the second time I’ve used this kit, both times with soft leaf springs and around 450hp and it helps reduce axle wrap too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this kit.
