These large bump stops are great for cushioning suspension up-travel, they can be mounted to the frame or axle side in any situation, and only need a semi-flat piece of metal as a contact surface to get the full effect. They are not solid all the way through, allowing for softer compression unlike other bump stops that are so solid they hit almost as hard as metal-on-metal contact. These allow for sufficient cushion but still allow enough compression to not limit your flex-ability on up-travel. They mount with a 3/8 - 16 stud and come with a nylock nut to hold them securely.
They look great and are super easy to install. But with very little side pressure the squish stared to separate from the base. I understand they aren’t meant for side loads but with a link suspension with one drooping and the other stuffed there’s going to be some side loading. No they haven’t come apart yet but I also haven’t wheeled them either. Time will tell.
