Ruffstuff bumpers are not the same old bumpers everyone else makes. Our Overlay plate is made from 3/16" steel and we use 1.5" x 120" wall D.O.M. for the step and hitch reinforcement. These are also tied together with dimpled 16 gauge for additional strength and to provide a good surface area for stepping.
The rear bumper overlays the crossmember, thickening it while ignoring the additional cost of material. This bumper is designed for a very snug fit that you can bolt up in less than an hour. The strength is more than worth it. At RuffStuff, strength and durability are always our deciding factors in any design! This version of the Overlay Bumper has all the necessary add-ons. Recovery points on each side for D-ring shackles to mount. A hitch in the middle with a dimple die step connecting to each side. The hitch isn't rated for towing but is more for racks or accessories.

Immediately was blown away at how beefy the bumper was, very impressed. Install is simple, the only thing that I would add into the purchase are bumper to frame tie in brackets for that extra support. Easy to order those separately though. Excellent non the less!!
