Rudy Wetzel

@rudys_adventure_and_design Rudy Wetzel Rudy Wetzel, son to Matt Wetzel, I'm 24 years old, based out of Southern Utah. There's a good chance you've seen his rigs on YouTube, at KOH, or other offroad events. Rudy started his career in the off-road industry right about the same time he got his driver's license. Rudy and his dad were in the tow and recovery business and began to be called out to more and more off road recoveries, creating the demand for more capable vehicles offroad. Rudy and his dad worked together to build the MORRVAIR, an offroad-converted Chevy Corvair, and began filming their recoveries leading to what is now known as "Matt's Offroad Recovery" on YouTube. Rudy has since branched off from his dad and now has his own business and YouTube channel, "Rudy's Adventure and Design" , aka "RAD". Rudy's presence in the offroad industry stems from his passion for fabrication. If you were to walk around his shop, you'd see a little bit of everything from hotrods and low-riders, to buggies and desert racers. Rudy is currently best known for his 1999 Jeep Cherokee, the "RUDICON" on one-ton axles with 40 inch tires, full-hydro assist, and a supercharger. This last year Rudy built a 1987 Dodge RamCharger, now custom built with 40 inch tires, 14" DSC coilovers, Holley EFI, mildly built Mopar360, TF 727 transmission with a 203/205 doubler on 2008 Superduty axles with Ruff Stuff 1 ton steering kit, DOM link kits, and quick disconnect pipe clamps.
