Cadillac El Dorado Style Caliper Set with Parking Brake Lever

A new set of calipers with built in parking brake to pass tech/ vehicle inspection. Up until now most companies that sold these required you to pay a core charge or return an old one to rebuild. We don't do that, these are brand new, not rebuilt so we don't need a core. This caliper came on the rear of a 76-77 Cadillac Eldorado from the factory and are the large Cadillac parking brake calipers compared to the 78 and newer calipers which are smaller. The caliper itself is the same in size and stopping power as a 3/4 ton 73-87 Chevy and GMC 4WD truck front caliper. The El Dorado had rear disc brakes that required the parking brake and with the low production of the El Dorado and only being available for two years made this a very rare and hard to come by caliper. Comes loaded with the correct D122 pads and parking brake hardware pictured.

These include 7/16"-20 banjo bolts

(We do not have park brake lever arms available separately)

• These fit after market brake brackets with the commonly used ~7.045" mounting span. These will not bolt up to your rear factory brake brackets unless you have a 76-77 Cadillac El Dorado. However we have had someone report the lever arms on our calipers interfere with the factory El Dorado wheels. We have not installed these on a Cadillac so we cannot tell you what issues you may have.

• If your vehicle has a residual valve (can be located within the master cylinder or externally) you will want to remove it. Not doing so can cause your rear brakes to drag or lock up
